- Bachelor of Science in Psychology
The BS Psychology program aims to provide students with strong humanistic and research foundations in the essential theories, principles, applications and methods in the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. The program provides initial training for those interested in teaching, research and the practice of psychology. It also provides preparation for graduate studies in psychology as well as further studies in other professions such as Medicine, Law, and Business Management.
Graduates of this program may follow the traditional career paths as licensed psychometricians or work in mental health settings as a program personnel under the supervision of registered psychologists, in HR or research. With further specialized training, graduates of this program may pursue specialization in Psychology (Master’s to PhD) such as clinical, counseling, developmental, educational, social, industrial/organizational, etc.
