Dr. Edwin L. Olmos is currently the Department Chair for Natural Sciences and Engineering of the School of Sciences and Engineering of UA&P.<\/strong> He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from the same university.<\/p>Before joining UA&P, he worked in the Construction Division of the Engineering Equipment, Inc., and at the Metallurgical Technology Division of the Mines and Geo-Science Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).<\/p>
He was a Project Director of the Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development, Inc. (PFCED), a non-government organization committed to the promotion of academic excellence, professional proficiency, as well as social responsibility among people from all walks of life.<\/p>
