Dr. Marion L. Magsino is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, where she oversees the operations of the Junior College program (senior high school) and the Humanities and the Liberal Arts programs.<\/strong> She earned her master\u2019s degree and doctorate in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Her dissertation entitled “A Semiotic Analysis of Human Sexuality using a Peirce-Sebeok Framework\u201d markedly positions her research interests along the lines of linguistics and social ethics, particularly pursuing issues on Peircian semiotics, biosemiotics, and human sexuality. Among her published articles are \u201cPeirce, Sebeok and the Semiotic Reformation on Contemporary Communications\u201d and \u201cA Biosemiotic Modeling of the Body-\u201dSelf\u201d Synechism\u201d. She is a member of the International Society of Biosemiotics Studies and the Charles S. Peirce Society.
