Vince Agcaoili is an instructor, poet, and musician.<\/strong><\/p>He holds an MA in Humanities, Major in Literature, from UA&P. His thesis focused on a postcolonial reading of the late modernist Jose Garcia Villa\u2019s critical essays, short stories, and poems. His research interests lie primarily in Philippine literature and ecopoetry. He teaches literature and poetry under the Department of Literature and the Humanities Program of the College of Arts and Sciences.<\/span><\/p>As a poet, Vince was a fellow of the first iteration of Tara, Tula 2020; the UST National Writers\u2019 Workshop 2021; the Spring 2021 fellowship of Albertus Magnus Institute (Sacramento, USA); and the IYAS National Writers\u2019 Workshop 2022. His works have appeared in Tita Lacambra Ayala\u2019s <\/span>Road Map Series Heritage<\/span><\/i>, UA&P\u2019s <\/span>The Bosun<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Novice Magazine<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Ilahas Literary Journal<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Luna Journal: A Semi-Annual Journal of New Filipino Writing<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Audience Askew<\/span><\/i>, and are forthcoming in UST\u2019s <\/span>Tomas <\/span><\/i>and in <\/span>The Manila Magnolia<\/span><\/i>. He is currently at work on his first\u00a0 full-length collection of poems.<\/span><\/p>As a musician, Vince was the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist of the rock outfit At the Moment.
