Aileen Espinoza Abadingo has 20 years of teaching experience. She started as a pre-school teacher and became an ESL and elementary teacher. She holds a BA Journalism degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman and is taking her MA in Reading Education from the same university. She also took Language and Literacy Education as a diploma course in UP Open University. 

At present, Aileen teaches at the Junior College program of UA&P. During her spare time, she reads novels and writes journals. She plans to finish her first novel before she turns 50.

Dr. Victor A. Abola is the Program Director of the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP) of the UA&P School of Economics.  

A senior economist, he lectures on Macroeconomic Policy at the graduate school level, and Money and Banking at the undergraduate level of the School of Economics. He co-authored with Dr. Bernardo M. Villegas the textbooks Economics:  An Introduction (now in its 6th edition) and Basic Economics (2nd ed. 2010), and co-authored with Mr. Roberto Juanchito T. Dispo the book The Emerging Bond Market in the Philippines (2015). He is the author of the text/reference book Money, Banking and Finance (2006, currently being updated). 

His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Development Management and an M.S. in Industrial Economics from UA&P, along with a B.A. and B.S. in Commerce (Major in Accounting) from De La Salle University. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA).

Vince V. Agcaoili

Vince Agcaoili is an instructor, poet, and musician.

He holds an MA in Humanities, Major in Literature, from UA&P. His thesis focused on a postcolonial reading of the late modernist Jose Garcia Villa’s critical essays, short stories, and poems. His research interests lie primarily in Philippine literature and ecopoetry. He teaches literature and poetry under the Department of Literature and the Humanities Program of the College of Arts and Sciences.

As a poet, Vince was a fellow of the first iteration of Tara, Tula 2020; the UST National Writers’ Workshop 2021; the Spring 2021 fellowship of Albertus Magnus Institute (Sacramento, USA); and the IYAS National Writers’ Workshop 2022. His works have appeared in Tita Lacambra Ayala’s Road Map Series Heritage, UA&P’s The Bosun, Novice Magazine, Ilahas Literary Journal, Luna Journal: A Semi-Annual Journal of New Filipino Writing, Audience Askew, and are forthcoming in UST’s Tomas and in The Manila Magnolia. He is currently at work on his first  full-length collection of poems.

As a musician, Vince was the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist of the rock outfit At the Moment. He is currently the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist of the independent rock band Eskinita.

Mary Grace Agner teaches Principles of Economics, Applied Economics, Managerial Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Economic Modelling and Forecasting, and Industry Analysis in the Industrial Economics Program of UA&P.

She has engaged in several consultancies, including “NLEX @15: Taking the High Road: Socio-economic Impact Development Study of the North Luzon Expressway; A study on the Use of Industrial Design in the Philippines funded by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO);” and “Philippine Hotel Industry Roadmap; Advancing Philippine Competitiveness: Towards Inclusive Growth on the Island of Mindoro (A Rapid Economic Assessment),” a USAID Compete Project.

She was awarded the UA&P Distinguished Teaching Award by UA&P’s Center for Teaching and Learning for exemplifying excellence in teaching and creating optimal learning experiences for her students.

Nicomedes Alviar is the Dean of the School of Law and Governance of the University of Asia and the Pacific. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman. He obtained his MA in Political Science degree from the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School, Manila and his AB Asian Studies degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts & Letters.

Aside from his work in the academe, Dr. Alviar is actively involved in advocacies related to good governance, youth leader development, volunteer service work, and values education.

Dr. Angel Antonio is currently the Dean of the School of Education and Human Development. He is a certified specialist in developmental psychology (CSDP), a registered psychologist (RPsy), and a licensed professional teacher (LPT). He is also an accreditor in higher education (both tertiary and graduate programs) of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU). Dr. Antonio received his M.A. and Ph.D. from Miriam College.

Concurrently serving as the Program Director of the Early Childhood Education program, Dr. Antonio teaches undergraduate level courses in General Psychology, Special Education and Inclusive Education, and Guiding Young Children’s Behavior and Moral Development and also graduate level courses on Early Childhood Special Education and Lifespan Developmental Psychology.

Aylin M. Bello, MA, RPsy is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in trauma-informed approaches and cognitive behavioral therapy. She received her MA in Counseling Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University. She is a consultant psychologist at In Touch Community Services and has her own private practice. She has worked extensively with adolescents and adults with issues and conditions such as depression, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and relationship issues. Her research interests include help-seeking behaviors, mindfulness-based interventions, and risk-taking behaviors among adolescents. Aylin also conducts workshops and talks on topics such as well-being, mindfulness, self-compassion, stress management, and emotion regulation.
