Aileen Espinoza Abadingo has 20 years of teaching experience. She started as a pre-school teacher and became an ESL and elementary teacher. She holds a BA Journalism degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman and is taking her MA in Reading Education from the same university. She also took Language and Literacy Education as a diploma course in UP Open University. 

At present, Aileen teaches at the Junior College program of UA&P. During her spare time, she reads novels and writes journals. She plans to finish her first novel before she turns 50.

Vince V. Agcaoili

Vince Agcaoili is an instructor, poet, and musician.

He holds an MA in Humanities, Major in Literature, from UA&P. His thesis focused on a postcolonial reading of the late modernist Jose Garcia Villa’s critical essays, short stories, and poems. His research interests lie primarily in Philippine literature and ecopoetry. He teaches literature and poetry under the Department of Literature and the Humanities Program of the College of Arts and Sciences.

As a poet, Vince was a fellow of the first iteration of Tara, Tula 2020; the UST National Writers’ Workshop 2021; the Spring 2021 fellowship of Albertus Magnus Institute (Sacramento, USA); and the IYAS National Writers’ Workshop 2022. His works have appeared in Tita Lacambra Ayala’s Road Map Series Heritage, UA&P’s The Bosun, Novice Magazine, Ilahas Literary Journal, Luna Journal: A Semi-Annual Journal of New Filipino Writing, Audience Askew, and are forthcoming in UST’s Tomas and in The Manila Magnolia. He is currently at work on his first  full-length collection of poems.

As a musician, Vince was the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist of the rock outfit At the Moment. He is currently the songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist of the independent rock band Eskinita.

Danielle Y. Calantuan-Mejos is a graduate of the MA Humanities Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific. After graduating in 2006, she joined UA&P and has worked with the Humanities Program, the Literature Department, and, at present, the History Department of the College of Arts and Sciences. She has taught Classical and Renaissance Literature and is currently teaching a variation of the history of Christian Civilization. Thus far, she has been a mentor for 16 years, a teacher for 15 years, a wife of 11 years, and is a mother of three boys. 

In addition to participating in numerous parenting seminars, she also holds a certificate in Family Life Education from UA&P and would like to understand further the complexities of the family in the contemporary world, and how Christianity plays a role in personal formation.

Marya Svetlana T. Camacho

Dr. Yvette Camacho is a historian of the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines. She earned her doctoral degree in History at the University of Navarra in Spain, and her master’s degree in Liberal Arts from the same university. She graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a bachelor’s degree in Humanities (Interdisciplinary track), magna cum laude.
Most of her publications focus on the institutional history of women’s education, the Filipino feminine ethos from a historical perspective, and the introduction of Christian marriage in its legal, sociocultural, and ecclesiastical dimensions. Her current project continues to explore the sociocultural and economic aspects of women’s lives during the Spanish period in Philippine history.
Aside from her teaching and research activities, she has occupied academic administrative posts in the University. At present, as Vice President of Faculty Affairs, she pursues projects to cultivate teaching and research excellence in UA&P.

Fr. Alfred Robert V. Cruz lectures in the Religion Department of the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Philosophy with specialization in Metaphysics from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome, Italy) and a Bachelor in Theology from the University of Navarre (Pamplona, Spain).  He graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He obtained his license as an architect in 2011 and worked as an architect for three years before he began his ecclesiastical studies abroad.

Ferdinand D. Delos Reyes, M.A. is a full-time faculty member of the Department of Philosophy of the UA&P College of Arts and Sciences. He earned his Master of Arts in Philosophy at the University of the Philippines Diliman. His research interests are in social ethics, metaphysics, medieval philosophy, and socio-political philosophy. In his youth, he had the good fortune of having been peripatetically educated in Philosophy and Theology by Dr. Ariston Estrada Sr., the first Professor Emeritus of De La Salle University Manila. He was also the youngest member of the Great Books Club which discussed the great ideas of the western world.

Guillermo R. Dionisio is currently the chairperson of the Philosophy Department of the UA&P College of Arts and Sciences. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Philosophy from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila. At present, he is preparing to defend his dissertation on forgiveness for his Ph.D. in Philosophy in the same university.

He was a full scholar at the Internationale Sommerakademie, Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany) for a course on Human Rights and Natural Law.

He is an associate member of the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy based in the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., USA.

Dr. Paul Dumol lectures in the Humanities Program of the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Medieval Studies with specialization in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, Canada, and an MA in Liberal Arts with specialization in Philosophy from the Institute of Liberal Arts of the University of Navarre (Pamplona, Spain). He graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts.

Dr. Dumol is a playwright who writes in Tagalog; he is the author of the one-act play “Ang paglilitis ni Mang Serapio,” which was recognized by some critics as the pioneer of modernism in Philippine theater. He received the Centennial Honors for the Arts in the field of drama from the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1999 and was named Pambansang Alagad ni Balagtas in the field of drama by the Unyon ng Manunulat ng Pilipinas (UMPIL) in 2002. He received the Gawad Rizal from the Pambansang Komisyong Pangkasaysayan on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of José Rizal’s birth in 2012. His book The Manila Synod of 1582: The Draft of Its Handbook for Confessors (Quezon City: Ateneo de Manila University Press, 2014) was adjudged Best Translated Book at the 34th National Book Awards in 2015. In 2022, he was awarded the Gawad Dangal ng Panitikan by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino.

He appears in the CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art, as do several articles on his plays.
